The blow out of the water starts with Mama and daughter, Maggie, expecting Dee. Dee is the daughter of Mama and the sister of Maggie. She is somewhat unsuitable from her family. Dee in Everyday Use is a rude, selfish, and high cautiousness kind of character. Dee does not like the house she lived in as a child.
